TRANSPORTATION
Vans, originating in Bismarck, transport veterans to the Fargo VA Medical Center for appointments. Upon arrangement, these vans stop in Jamestown on their way to Fargo. This service is free of charge. Passengers must be able to get on and off the vans unassisted. The volunteer drivers do not have medical training, and cannot lift passengers in and out of the vehicles or transport passengers with serious medical conditions. Veterans may be accompanied by an attendant under special circumstances.
For a schedule of when the vans are operating please use the link under the ‘Documents’ section on the left hand side of this page. Please call our office if you have any questions or would like to reserve a ride on the van.
